Shelter Hours:
Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays:  1pm - 5pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays:  1pm - 7pm
Sundays, Wednesdays, and Holidays:  Closed

We are flooded with dogs and cats!  We have dogs of all sizes and ages.  Plus, June is Adopt-A-Cat Month so all cat adoption fees are reduced by $25.00 and many have no adoption fee.

Libby, Libby, Libby is in da house!  Little Libby arrived at the shelter and had pups a few days later.  She was a very young mom and really didn't know what to do with the puppies.  After a lot of loving care, her pups are adopted and she is now looking for a new home.   Libby is a cuddle bug and needs a somewhat calm home.  She gets along great with kids and dogs that are calmer. Her adoption fee is only $75.00, thanks to several sponsors.  If you are interested in adopting Libby, fill out an adoption application or give the shelter a call.  We'll need to set up an appointment for you to to meet with her foster family. 

Our annual dog walk will be held on August 15 from 10am until 2pm at the humane society.  There will be demonstrations, vendors, a silent auction, brat fry, and more - something for everyone.   Plus, this year prizes will be award for the team and individual that raises the most money.   (Prizes will be announced shortly!)   This is a great way to strut your stuff, get some exercise, and raise much needed funds for the humane society.  Pass the word!

Tuesday, June 30, 6pm-8pm.  Creative Memories fundraiser at the shelter.   We hope to raise enough to purchase scrapbooks to hold our open house pictures, construction photos, etc. 

Tuesday, July 21, 7-9pm.  If you are interested in natural oils, join us as Amanda Johnson tell us about Young Living Essential Oils.  These oils are 100% all natural and can be used for calming, healing, cleaning, and more.   RSVP's are appreciated.
